Its hard to have a 5 million seller when you only have 15 million consoles out there and the lion's share of those were bought less than a year ago.

 

 

Gears did pretty well on a smaller install base than 15million.....

 

Same for Halo 3. Its done 8mil with a base of 15mil so I don't know if your making the assumption that 360 is too good to compare to the PS3 or PS3 has no good selling games like the 360

 

I am saying that the PS3 has nothing to be ashamed of with not having a 5 million seller at this point; that the 360 did it is a credit to those games, not a strike against the PS3. A 33% attach rate is something very few games can acheive.

 

Isn't it sad that well known IPs like Ratchet and Clank could barely hit one million in sales while Gears hit 5million with similar install bases?
