Checkpoints for Diablo 3?

I'm more worried by this:

We don't want to remove the sense of suspense and danger by making town something you're always going back to pretty much whenever you like.

I wonder if Town Portals are coming back.

 

As long as there aren't 20 minute dashes to get to shops for healing etc (like in Dungeon Siege), I won't complain. I do hope the TP is still there though!
