read the definition he gave to the "generation 3" games
"Characteristics: Games sold seperately, third party publishers become dominant force in the industry, 3D graphics, focus on cinematic gaming"
Does this apply to 360? Yes
Does this apply to PS3? Yes
Does this apply to Wii? No
therefore it needs to be in a separate generation based on these particular definitions of generations... who knows what the "generation 4" characteristics could entail.. wii is the only console that doesn't fit into any of the three previous generation definitions, and hence makes its own generation, again, based on these definitions
