I mean, it's an unproven game, but surely EA deserves credit for trying something new?

You only proved you aren't interested in the concept. That isn't proof of the game's actual quality, and you know it.

I wasn't complaining about the quality... in terms of quality (graphical, gameplay) EA games are ok. I was complaining about the concept.
