Also, there are a lot of great Q&A's and other articles posted every few days (ok, sometimes a week), which if you went to news.vgchartz.com or the front page, you would have seen this anyways.

I came for the numbers, I stayed for the community.
The numbers really don't change much though. Tomorrow the Wii will still be in the lead, the PS3 will still be at the bottom very slowly catching up to the 360. That hasn't changed since the Wii first passed the 360 and it's likely to stay that way for the next year at least.

I'm about the same way (except I don't even check the news section once a month).
I remember I came here to start looking at the numbers and compare them to NextGenWars, made an account to bitch about some stupid post I saw and bitch at a mod for what I thought was a terrible job, and then didn't go away.

Ditto almost exactly. I actually was looking for nextgenwars numbers too when I found vgChartz. I thought (for some reason) that it was the only provider at the time (didn't know about NPD either). I saw an SSBB thread and figured I'd make an account and post.
