What? I am totally lost...
The arguement stem from people complaining that M rating doesn't neccessarily constitue mature content (which wasn't the topic to begin with).
...Then it was countered with: you cannot categorise mature because its define on an individual level.
...For which the imediate rebuttal was a set of attribute that should be considered mature and an example of a game the have this attribute
...Which was then followed by me stating the example did not have the describe attribute and was infact the opposite.
...Only for argument to then shift to the fact that because Space Invader is considered casual the whole argument is negated and its automatically considered a mature game?
I am not arguing that Space Invader is a mature game, I am arguing that the game bdbdbd use as an example of a mature game flies in direct contradiction to his own description of what constitute it.
He is in essence shooting himself in the foot.

You're confused because we're all confused, even I was confused are we discussing the rating system of different countries yesterday? Like I said mature games have different interpretation and is subjective, anything as long as it didnt cater exclusively to toddlers can be a mature game. Even space invaders can be considered to be mature game. Its the ESRB that complicating things. Your thread supposed to be violent games in general than mature games.
