But if we actually want to be accurate, we should take note that the water is about three to four feet deep because the water level reaches the hip of the character when he/she is standing in it.

Point being that it isn't as bad to be killed by a shark which is still in deep enough water to live as it is to be killed by a shark which is already as good as dead.

Bad quality but if you notice, the water reaches over the knees, which is 2 feet max. =P

Overall, I was killed by a shark. 

Okay, that's a point for you, I remembered it wrong. The water reaches to the hip before you drain the water from the Aqua Ring.

But we are still left with the most important question: Why didn't you kill the shark? After all there was a very short cutscene signaling trouble!
