I think that most people own both a PSP and a DS. Maybe the software sales for the DS will change dramatically but i only see a few more million people owning just one of the two.

Most? There are more than twice as many DS's sold than PSPs. If all 38 million PSP owners were also DS owners, there'd still be 43 million DS-only owners. And I'm pretty sure the percentage of people with multiple gaming systems is really small.  With consoles it's something like 3% or so.

If it wasn't for the PSP, the DS would've been at 90 or 100 million by now, and somehow have even more momentum than it does.

They both definitely expanded the handheld market though. How much did the GBA sell without competition?

Complete misinterpretation of where I was going with that. I was mainly referring to the fact that most people that own a PSP own a DS. I didn't really feel the need to type all of that out but now I know, if I don't then people automatically will miscontrue my statement into me slamming Sony somehow.

Oh oops.  I didn't think you were slamming Sony.  I just thought you went nuts or something.  Sorry about that.
