On a side note, a friend of mine had a hedge hog, and only once did I ever see the thing actually move. She took it out of it's cage, and after just sitting there in a ball for a couple of minutes (just like every other time I saw the damn thing) on her bedroom floor, it poked out it's head, got up, walked about a foot, pooped, walked another foot, stopped, and then backed up and speared it's poop with it's little hedgehog spike. It then ran around the room carrying it's poop with it while my friend shouted "no no no no!"
