Those lower-income families are, by and large, not looking to get video game systems anyway, and even if they are, they're likely looking more toward the PS2: a popular system with a huge and relatively inexpensive library. They're passing over this generation entirely.


I think you're wrong. Lower income families, such as mine, many are interested in gaming and price is the biggest deciding factor. Lower income families may not have as much money as the middle class, but they still WANT things for themselves, or for their kids. How many lower income families have cars? TVs? Internet?
