Like it or not, people are buying software for the Wii. Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Music, etc. are software. The Wii sells because of its games.

If there's one console that isn't selling due to its software (in terms of games, at least), it's the PSP.

 

You are so true, it's not random we see Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii in the top 10 for about 6 months, also SSBB is on the top 20 or so for a long time, even higher than GTA IV!! and is mostly a hard core game than casual!!

about 3rd parties, if the game is good, it sells!!
Zack and Wiki is almost to gold, same with Boom Blox, Lego Star Wars and Sonic sold really well, Tales of Symphonia is selling good as well, DragonBall Budokai tenkaichi 3 is at about 0.70 and also Dragon Quest for Wii is somehow close to 1 million!!

games sell if they are good, but 3rd parties develop games for Wii in order to sell without effort, which results in having something like 4-5 NIntendo games that are 7 million sellers!!

 

Force unleashed will do the best on Wii and by Christmas it may even beat Xbox360 cause it's a great game and will have long legs, unlike Xbox360 games that sell only the 1st 2-3 weeks!
