R.I.P JRPG's....the PS3 fanboys gave up on you... UNLESS YOU'RE EXCLUSIVE! HEY GUESS WHAT!? THAT WHITE KNIGHT GAME IS BETTER THAN FFXIII AS WELL!

It's White Knight Chronicles jsut so you know and it does have a chance of being better than Final fantasy XIII heck who knows Tales of Vesperia could end up being better than Final Fanatsy XIII. It's kind of stupid to say something will be better or worse than a game that hasn't even been released yet <__<

Bah, I know what you say is possible, but it's very unlikely. Just judging from past FF numbered games, I'll probably love XIII beyond believe, while I did not really like Rogue Galaxy.

I'm the biggest ToV promoter on this forum(well one of the biggest) and I can tell you that I enjoyed most of the numbered FF games more than ToV(which I still rank amongst my favorite games in the genre despite that fact).

I think WKC looks good. However, so did IU. The reason WKC is so hyped, is because it's a PS3 exclusive, and PS3 fans always, without fail, overhype their exclusives. They don't overhype them beyond what a game deserves, but they do overhype them beyond what anyone should ever hype an unproven game. All big games on all systems are vastly overhyped, however, the PS3 exclusives seem to be the only group of games that are overhyped no matter what their size.

From LBP all the way down to Valkyria chronicles, every game that's on the PS3 and not on another console, has a slight to high level of overhype. Games that aren't out for years, have been hyped for months.

In truth, I blame the Sony and Square-Enix's method of propping up tentpole titles, and its leaking into mainstream gaming. Making big promises and not delivering a game for 2-3 years after said promises turn the game into a myth, rather than a game. When you talk about myths, you tend to get other games mixed up in them.

So yeah, WKC looks no better or worse than any of the other jrpg trailers I've seen, really. You can't tell by those trailers anyway. The Xenogears type knight transformations are interesting, but the game does contain a certain amount of overhyping, ie(It'll be the best jrpg ever, best jrpg this generation guranteed, ect) because it's a PS3 exclusive. If the game was on the 360, it would just be another title in a bullet list of jrpgs released on the console, with an asterik of "has potential" beside it.

You have to be careful when you choose your games based on their console, rather than their merit. Doesn't really matter though, you'll probably be happy either way. Game consoles are fun, afterall.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
