In the three weeks since the 360 price drop, it has outsold the PS3 in North America by 66% (week 1), 89% (week 2) and 63% (week 3). This doesn't look like a "waning" effect of the price drop; it looks like both 360 and PS3 sales are declining gradually, at about the same percentage rate.

 

wow nicee cherry picking. You fail to mention. 1st week = Japan + NA price cut 2nd week = Major game release. 3rd week = europe price drop.

Like I said last week 360 dropped again.... and we should all expect more drops next week. I say 5k in each region. So 10k Japan, 66k NA, and 60k Others. I got flamed last week for saying that the numbers weren't impressive. This week they are even worse....

Ummm... This thread is about the North American numbers. That's why, as I clearly stated in my post, my numbers are for North America only.

My point remains that North American sales of BOTH the 360 and the PS3 have been dropping over the past 3 weeks, at approximately the same recentage rate.
