of course it's going to require WMP. the entire reason for the game is to showcase WMP just like wiisports was there simply to showcase the wiimote.
the real question is how many of the games require 2 wiimotes with WMP. buyers are going to be pissed if they buy the game and find out they have to go back to store to buy another WMP accessory just to play half the games.
