Wachovia is in trouble - talks are under way to buy it or bail it out. Not sure about the rest.

 

 

Yea, lol I read about Wachovia today, one of my accounts is there. I think most or all of it is still covered by FDIC. So I am not going to panic and pull my funds (and be part of a bank run)

Bank of America must be fine, they are the ones who bought out Merril I believe. I assumed national city was fine because I had not heard anything on them.

@ BJ - I heard a rumor about BA buying a big bank. I have my loot there - but it's not enough to break me. If Paypal goes under, look out!
