This isn't about what soundtrack is the best, but what soundtrack is the best when combined with its game. And it doesn't have to be an original score.
For a complete soundtrack, my best fit is probably MGS4. It took the game up the last step on the epicness ladder.
For a song though, I have to say Slipknot - Before I Forget in Motorstorm. Whenever I was racing with that song in the back, I got even more high on the gameplay, it almost feels like it added to the gameplay itself, that combination is simply pure awesome.
