He's a great man just like Godot ;) I prefer Godot though. Edgeworth is a better man though.
I don't think it was about seeing the light. I think it's more about he learned about himself. He was able to "move on" that event that traumatized him.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
