True, people tend to forget how pathetically mired the PS2 was in shovelware. However, riding the success and momentum of the PS1, the PS2 had more than enough quality games and support to offset any damage the shovelware could inflict on its image. The Wii on the otherhand got the shovelware in spades right from the getgo and is now struggling to achieve an adequare quality to shovelware ratio.
