I apologize for the misunderstanding, though I do not see much of a point in explaining yourself in full when this could have been avoided by prefacing it with an "in my opinion." I suppose I only have myself to blame for not being able to perceive opinions over the internet without a blatant reminder.
In any case, I can see where you're coming from, though I have to disagree. The change is, in a way, refreshing, at least when I view it from a more open-minded perspective. From a Castlevania perspective, though, I completely agree, though I've chosen to scrap that perspective due to the game's departure from traditional Castlevania gameplay.
