To my knowledge, we have had Wii's (and everything else) in stock for quite a while now. Its been a fairly slow "winter" period, and the Wii still costs more than 2x what a PS2 does.
So although I haven't seen this updated price, it doesn't surprise me. Especially with the dollar doing so well. The Wii has always been a rip-odd here (and in many European countries), so its great to see some price equalisation.
Even with our $ sitting at $0.85 US (very high - used to be around 73c) is still $339 US. Take out our 10% GST, and its still $310US.
$249US should go for $319AU here - when our GST is taken into account.
A Wii pack + game (RE4?) for $349 seems fair to me. Not surprised at the reports of it now being sold out ;)
