Gamers (not just Nintendo ones) have been acting like a bunch of boys being forced to let a girl into their all boys club. Whining and complaining and saying how the girl will ruin everything and then bring in more girls...
Sure, things will be different when (and if) Nintendo succeeds in makingvideo games a mainstream entertainment medium that everyone enjoys instead of the previous niche market of old. It'll be better. For one, you can date some of those girls...
