DS software trend analysis - what does it mean for Wii?

It was much too read, but a nice analysis. And I also agree. I am a Wii-only Gamer and it was true, that in the beginning of the life-span of the Wii there were too few games available. Especially in the Others-Territory. We got the Wii early, but the Games needed some time.

Right now however, there are more than enough games available. Especially for people like me, who play nearly everything. Some genres could need more games. For instance the FPS-genre. (Damn, the Wii-control is perfect for FPS, it should be flooded with them ...)
On the other hand, we have totally new genres, which the other consoles don't have. Like the fitness genre or the medical simulation genre.

This site is always complimented for its intelligent following and so I wanted to see which kind of thread would pull the most posts.. Unfortuantely so far i've been proven wrong.. I mean its always fun to have a joke but this is the analysis thread, this is where the discussion should be happening.

Yes but it is hard having a discussion about this, it was already clear to us that the Wii seems to get better third party support faster then ds did. The only thing we hope now there will be lots of good games coming from it and so far it looks very good.
