You are right - but I pray JP6 will think of his decision as political manuevering.
What I find funny is - how good of a job would he do with this bailout plan when his finance guru said the U.S. is full of whiners, and he himself thinks the economy is fundamentally sound? And how in the devil do you spin that for good.
Numbers don't lie - when it's war, folks vote GOP. When it's the economy, they vote Dems.
He should just stick to doing what he needs to - accept the Palin bounce is fading like the Studebaker brand and just soldier on - and not to try to work on something you don't know JACK about.
