He has a point, Soldier. It's not a matter of if Nintendo can cut their price but a matter of necessity. Price cuts happen only to help increase demand. If demand is already equal or above supply, a price cut would only hinder profit margins as there would be no increase in sales to offset the cut.

He's simply saying that he doesn't believe demand will drop low enough to warrant a price cut until 2009.
