No! They could not have done it. Even though I love Nintendo made games, I wouldn't touch such a system with a long pole. That is the reason I didn't touch the GameCube with a long pole. It is disappointing to be on a console without their games... but better than lack of variety.

And they didn't go solo with the cube or the 64. A true solo would be completely impossible. Why do you think they are running around trying to get third party support? Because they learned that they can't go solo.

 Why do people contradict themselves? How can you say they couldn't and then point to the gamecube as an example?  The gamecube is probably one of the best examples of them going it alone.  Sure you didn't buy the gamecube because of it but it doesn't change the fact that they went it alone and made money.  It isn't the kind of money they wanted to make but they stayed afloat.

But no you weren't done contradicting yourself, after saying that the reason you didn't touch the gamecube was because they went it alone..you say they didn't go it alone with the cube. I know you are trying to redefine the discussion by telling everyone your definition of "going it alone" but thats now how this works.

As for Nintendo  running around for 3rd party support, I have heard people complain they are clamming up on third parties not running around looking for them.  The fact is that all of these 3rd party deals happen behind closed doors so nobody really knows if Nintendo is scrambling for 3rd party devs or if they are playing hard to get.  People are just talking out of their arse.

@Game_Boy,

I hate vista enough that I wouldn't even buy Wiindows Vista =P
