Why does Killzone 2 matter?

Too many people say "Oh, sales will pick up with X game. Then Sony will rule again". I feel many need a wake up call. None of those games are going to push console, expecially Killzone 2. The game is hyped, but that doesn't mean it will push consoles. The hype will make it sell to those who already own a PS3, or would have bought one any way. The only games so far that will push consoles are Wii Fit, Mario Galaxy, Halo 3 and GTA 4. The latter 3 usually all sell over 6million. FF is the only one who has sold over that, and that was on the PS1 and 2's high user base. These game's sales are more dependant on the console.

You continue to underestimate the ps3, you do know that ounce some game that looks better than anything on the 360 thus far(killzone2) is released on the ps3 those 360 owners are willing to pay for a ps3(this is how microsoft got into sony's ps2 owners, with gears of war an halo )
