Ah, Grampy made a good point. People talk about Wii Music as an inferior version of the other "music" games, but the thing about those games - Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc... is they're still easily playable if you mute the game. The games are really just about hitting boxes, more than anything. Anyone who's played the hard stuff like this knows what I mean:

Compare that to Wii Music, where music creation is the focus of the game, and you'll find they're entirely different. Put aside the fact the game may be "shallow," as Wii Sports had all the same problems - you can't even move in the games (tennis, boxing, or baseball), all the game has you do is simply "waggle" when the time comes. Technically, that's a large step backwards, but people were okay with it.

Deaf people can play GH, but they can't play Wii Music.
