Well you have to understand that the Wii's ungodly success caught everyone but THQ and Ubisoft off guard. Every other third party developer was giving similar support to what they gave gamecube which was close to none. But when the Wii started to fire up devs said oh fuck we're in trouble. That's why we've been seeing a lot of 3rd party games announced for Wii but they are nothing but "makeup" titles. They aren't big titles at all. They are titles that devs are putting out to have their name and games somewhere out there for at least a slight chance of getting something out of Wii's enormous and fast growing base.

So 2007 is goign to be nothing but that for 3rd parties. It's not until 2008 that you are going to see 3rd parties start making these amazing games on Wii. Cuase you can't make an amazing game in half a year. Devs are working on big games for Wii but they won't be releasing til 2008/2009 timeframe. People always say that Wii's biggest year is going to be this year but I beg to differ. I think because 3rd party support is going to be at its maximum next year that's when the Wii will take off not only in enormous sales but in huge 3rd party games that really make the lineup very appealing to all.

But we just have to understand the fact that devs are behind with the Wii and 2007 you aren't going to see too many of them releasing AAA games aside from Ubisoft and THQ in their own rites.
