If there was no Nintendo, there would be NO company to pledge allegiance to.
There is no videogame industry without Nintendo. Literally.
The day they exit the business is the day consoles cease to exist. Gaming would end up on computers and mobile devices. But it would be a much less lucrative and sadder place.
