I think the comparison between games then and now is incorrect. He assumes that bridge titles from the 80s are still bridge titles today. No, they're not, they've changed, as more and more casual titles move the bar the Megaman series stays in the same spot. While there is an argument that the early 90's classification of a bridge title should stick with the early 90s megaman, the argument ends when a modern itteration, which is now a niche game, is released. Megaman 9 is not a bridge title, and it's certainly not a casual game.
