I think the way people are ranked in the prediction league should be changed. The way we're ranked in individual rounds is fine, I'm talking about the big ranking on the main prediction league page. Currently, our scores (percentages) for individual rounds are simply added together and we're ranked based on how high our total score is. The problem with this system is that it favours those who participate more rather than those who are better at predicting sales. For example, a person could get very good score of 90% in one round, but that person would be ranked below someone who scores 50% (a not so good score) in two rounds. Clearly the first person should be ranked first.
I'd suggest giving out points based on how a person ranks in individual rounds. So if someone came first in a round (had the highest percentage), they would be given, say, 50 points. Second would be given 30 points, third 25 points, etc. I don't know how hard it would be to implement this new scoring system, but I think it would make the prediction league much better.
