Well.. there are two ways of answering this, and it depends on what the question implies.. (i assume it means the latter though)
1. Nintendo didn't exist at all - No clue, gaming industry would be very different today, and probably none of the same brands would be the same brands.. (note, sony formed because nintendo rejected a partnership, microsoft joined because sony joined)
2. Nintendo quit at some point
a) but kept making games - whichever console gets their IPs, and PC of course
b) stopped making games - stick with PC, and go to friends homes to play the one off good games on other platforms, like i do now
