When did I believe otherwise? Of course FF characters are a selling point :3 But it's not like FF and Nintendo don't mix >.> Like FF games haven't been popular on Nintendo systems. FF games started on Nintendo systems...

Vamo' alla Flamenco? That's an OK song. Nothing great.

They started on Nintendo Systems, but they sold average (Don't get me wrong, i think FF IV and VI for the Super Famicom are brilliant in quality, but they were not huge hits commercialy), FF VII for the Playstation is the game that got the series into the mainstream, every FF game sells huge because of that, Final Fantasy and Sony are more selling point than Final Fantasy and Nintendo, at least it has been that way for 10 years or so...

Not true. Both of those games were million sellers in Japan and it is a well known fact that a million was considered a big hit.
|
Million sellers after how much time??? FFVII sold 2.3 millions in Japan after 3 days, both IV and VI have that in lifetime sales, that makes them hits, not HUGE hits, since VII almost every FF game sells more than a million in Japan in its first week...

FFVI(the SNES version) sold over 1.2 million copies in Japan alone in just three days

My bad, i was looking at the wrong game, you're right, VI was huge... now, it doesn't change my premise, one huge hit in a Nintendo console vs 6 huge hits in Sony consoles...
