Gee, everyone is talking about it, it must certainly be false. A big anti-Square-Enix conspiracy I do say. Why that's right Masterb8tr (a tasteful name too might I add), this has all just been made up to give Square-Enix and Dragon Quest a hard time. All this is really still just in the game, me and all these other people just felt like expending hours of our time to denounce something that isn't true. Congrats Masterb8tr, you figured it out!
It's clear you're only here to try and enact some kind of personal jab at me as you, an avid Nintendo hater, have no interest what-so-ever in this game or the platform it is coming out on.
I'm sorry masterb8ter, DQIV got "nerfed" in the West. Though I'm sure that's why you're here in this thread posting isn't it? ;)
