The Hardcore doesn't matter. The Wii is getting almost no hardcore support, and it's still selling faster than the PS2. The 'Hardcore' is a very small, very niche market that's getting harder and harder to satisfy.
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
