What? Namco was dead on. First day sales are ~40% of the total shipment. That's the correct amount to ship.

HOLY CRAP? They only shipped 50k? Well then anyone thinking sales more than 40k (starcraft) were just folling themselves. As the people who ship it probablly have a better idea of sales and expectations than they do.
