Wait a minute?  You are using the Xbox 360's disappointing performance with one game of which there are dozens in the genre on the console to make a comparison to the PS3's horrendous performance with a game that was meant to act as a lighting rod for the JRPG genre?

It can no longer be spun Mr Mature.  The PS3 just got a very impressive JRPG, and it barely left the shelves it was set up on.

Metacritic put the title at 79.  Very high for a non-FF JRPG in the West.  Having played the game (unlike you) I can tell you that it is quite good.

Just like UT3, your Bioshock comparison is useless.  The PS3 already has a number of shooters, and has shown a capacity to sell them well.

The fact remains that the argument has long been made by Sony fans that we should assume the PS3 can sell JRPG's in large numbers.  Failing an enormous internal multiplier over the first week, we have proof here that for now at least, they were wrong.
