Come now... this is Japan we are talking about, a region many people say MS should just leave and ignore. and even if Wii is in a low period and 360 recieved a massive boost it's impressive to be selling on par even for 1 week.
I mean the PS3 last year had to have a number of relatively big games (biggest I think being GT5P) a price-cut + new model with a new colour all within the space of 2-3 weeks, and all it managed was 3 weeks outselling the Wii..... and a further 1 week was managed with the MGS4 release + MGS4 limited bundle with new colour.
I actually find this feat about as impressive as the combined feats of the PS3 outselling Wii, because PS3 needed new colours, limited editions (both vastly good methods of selling lots quickly as proved by PSP and DS) as well as a price cut and big - huge games.
