Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the PS3 dropped it's price - VGC didn't show a massive rise, did it?

Ultimately, the price drop in the USA will be judged by October, November and December - Not 2 weeks in September. Having said that, 180,000 units in 2 weeks (whereas it was selling around 100,000 in a similar timeframe) isn't too bad. If it sustains these type of sales for quite some time, that will be considered a success.
If anyone would like to argue that "it's pretty bad", I'd LOVE to see some hard numbers from ANYWHERE that show that the price drop should of jumped sales even more. Check the PS3 and X360 drops last year - neither had major, quick boosts, but had good increases that showed major upward trends.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
