I agree, for me it's the character and personality in the setting. It makes for a great atmosphere, not to mension the grim brutality and combat.

I think Dawn of War 2's trailer tried to folow the same path, but somehow I just don't feel it. It needs more running up a hill with a flag while being shot at than it currently has.
