First off a 60 dollar game is not 6 million in revenue, much like a 50 dollar game is not 5 million in revenue, and as you said it's a multiplatform game, which means 360 and PS3 shares development cost and Wii - PS2 shares development costs, overall the 10 dollar difference IS to make up for the added development cost on the 360 - PS3, this has been said plenty of times by MS and Sony themselves.

As far as the original question, I forgot to answer, I'll say FFXIII, MGS4 and GTA4 are the only ones that I see being sure 3rd party million sellers on the system, sure UT3, CoD4, Madden, etc can be too, but it'd be way more difficult, I'm gonna say MGS4 or GTA4, whichever comes out first.

lol. your wrong. 60 dollar game x 100k is 6 million in revenue.

revenue is not profit, so how much they spent on developement , shipping cost, commission to game stores don't matter.(those are expense)

Gross profit = Sales - Cost of Goods

Revenue -expense = profit.

okI'm going to be the smartass on that one... but both of you are wrong :) eilei you are almost right except it's the retailer's revenue you are giving not Ms's or nintendo's one :) but you are right on your calcule and all.... you just need to find out how much MS and Nintendo are selling the games to the wholsalers :D they don't give retro comission to game stores well I don't know in USA I never worked in a game store here but in europe they don't we just pay the wholesaler 90 days after purshase... I'm pretty sure it's the same worldwide.... but no money is then going back the other way... :)

sorry I just felt like being a smarty pants..... well it eases the atmosphere among all those crazy posts going on on the forums lol
