It could happen, but I think Sony is going to wait and see how things play out, now that Microsoft has made their moves for the end of the year, as far as price goes. I think we will start to see extream PS3 marketing go into effect next month, reminding the casual consumers that it is not just games, but an all in one media hub for the living room. If they can get people to buy into PS3 for both games and movies I think they will do ok and be able to hold off a price cut tell after the holidays.

So basically I think Sony is really sweating it right now hoping that consumers do their homework before buying. The PS3 is easly the best value for your dollar out of the three systems, but consumers need to be aware of that, and they have to be able to give it the value of appeal.
Consumers on the fence will be a big part for both MS and Sony this holiday, and with research the fence sitters should see PS3 as the obvious choice. If Little Big Planet can do its job on one end, and The Dark Knight seals up the other end, I think PS3 will have great appeal value this winter. Take the fence sitters buy feeding them the facts through advertising, grab the gaming crowd with the lovable LBP, and pull in the people that want to see the best version of TDK and I think they can sweep buy without a possible price drop.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
