The "I am tired of Guitar Hero and/or Rock Band!" thread

The game is a huge sales point for losers who are too lazy to try the real thing and create beautiful music of your own. You can create a simulation and have it sell a bundle for morons who are too sad to live life. Look at second life, look at World of Warcraft and look at these two games. I haven't met a person who played WOW that wasn't hooked on it like a crack addict and the same goes for this game. "OMG!! they put up a Megadeth song? Let me play it! I want to see how good I can be." Call me an elitist...i'm a realist and I just so happen to play guitar and actually sing. Heres some respectable words.

Blues-Rock guitarist and singer, John Mayer, has slammed the popular videogame Guitar Hero because he feels that it does not provide the thrill a real guitar gives. Mayer has urged fans to learn to play the guitar instead of using the game to get the experience. He said, "Guitar Hero was devised to bring the guitar-playing experience to the masses without them having to put anything into it. And having done both, there's nothing like really playing the guitar. I mean, what would you rather drive, a Ferrari or one of those amusement park cars on a track?"
