It is not as crazy as you saying MGS would sell only 800k or something on 360. ;P

I think perhaps you did not read my post... I said MGS4 total would have increased by about 800k, but I said the sales split would be 55:45 in X360s favour, which means around 2.2 million on the X360 to 1.8 million on the PS3.

 

Thats not true. It would have likely increased the total sales by a lot as most people do not own both an Xbox 360 and a PS3 so the audience for the game would have been much larger. Its like how COD IV wouldn't have been a huge seller while being on two platforms.
