It's silly arguing over the "qaulity" of games since in the end, it's a matter of opinion. What helps Nintendo is that their games have a lot of originality and are often unique and not possible on other systems. And with the PS3, exclusivity does matter because if a consumer can get the same game on another system, they might buy that other system. So to ignore the point as if it doesn't matter is foolish.
The fact is, the PS3 doesn't have that many exclusives and not nearly as many great ones as the Wii or Xbox 360. The lower price of the Wii and even the 360 does help. PS3 will probably catch and pass the 360 sometime early next year but it will never catch the Wii regardless of how much it pisses off certain gamers on here.
