Do you expect the PS3 to, eventually, 'pull a PSP' in Japan?

Last gen, the PS2 had everything, this generation the 360 has Tales of vesperia and Star Ocrean, the Wii has Two new Tales of games and Monster Hunter 3 an the PS3 only has MGS4 and FFXIII. And look at the PSP now, even it couldn't pull off its upward trend forever, the superior handheld inevitably took back its crown. Even if against all odds the PS3 managed to pull a PSP how long do you really think it could last?

You Sony fans are relying on too few games for too much of an impact. This is not a succesful plan of ambition, this is a way of thinking that has time and time again shot you in the foot repeatedly.

how about versus, white knight chronicles(a LEVEL 5 RPG), gran turismo 5 and little big planet?

there so much bias against sony it that post, its not even funny.

psp still outselling the wii in japan just because monter hunter 2 for a long while.

yes ds is selling alot, but after dragon quest remade it was known it was going to.

games to sales consoles, but that isn't working for the 360 after a 24k bump its back to 1000- 3000 .

 

final fantasy xii was not a nomura game, FF7 ff8 ff10 all sold over 7 millions,ff12 its one of the weakness ff, same as ff9 it went to traditional and it have lowest sales, but then ffx came back to the normal over 7 million.

still sold 2.42m in japan alone.

the talent is still there nomura, actually ff13 + versus together will likely be over 10 million together.

almost half of the sales are from japan, in japan only dragon quest and pokemon sell the amount FF does,

even crisis core sold more 700k there, in system with high piracy.

 Really and how much do you think Final Fantasy will sell on a console that isn't the PS2? Hahahaha. And white knights chronicles, the game that has been so painfully overhyped since before the PS3 launched, I hope its as stellar a game as LAIR, Heavenly Sword and Uncharted and sells the millions and millions of units those games did. Gran Turismo 5, oh so after that's out what will be your saftey net then? Gran Turismo 6? Another franchise on the decline in sales and lthe PS3 being no PS2 is not going to help that.

Again, you fanboys rely too heavily on individual games, it's a strategy that has bitten you in the ass before and will bite you again.
