according to some unreliable source, roughly 60% of people live under the poverty line.. so that leaves roughly 6.6billion * 0.4 people = 2.64billion not under the poverty line
so each week, (if 500,000 consoles are sold every week)
0.0076% of the worlds population are buying consoles each week
0.019% of the population above the poverty line are buying consoles week
while it is a fairly large amount.. it isn't beyond the scope of reason
