A courtesy would be having it in the forum rules so it's official. A courtesy would be banning people WITHIN the scope of the rules. I understand he puts a lot of work into the site, but people need to understand people want a good browsing experience and if that means they install applications to reach that experience, then they shouldn't be punished for it.
That's like a person who boycotts a store in a mall getting banned from the mall because the mall gets money from the store. :b Horrible logic.
