That's pretty freakin' amazing.

Today I was thinking about the Pokemon Trading Card game for the GB, and wishing they released a new one for the DS. They could really flesh it out, instead of the simple interface from last time and include online tournaments and stuff. That's what I want.

This is the best idea in the history of ideas.  I f*ckin loved that game!  Ahh Pokemon, I just can't quit you.....Red version is possibly the greatest experience I've ever had playing a game.  :)

Playing Red was so magical for me. I experienced great joy everytime I caught a pokemon, whether it be a lowly Caterpie, or an hour long battle with the legendary Zapdos. Now when I play Pokemon, I don't feel the same way (although I do enjoy the games).

But that card game was addicting. I spent hours battling trainers in order to get a particular card from their specific booster, and I loved all 4 of my decks I made (I even named them, with some cool names........but I forgot them........I remember a Blastoise led water deck was my main deck though).

Fire for me, in the game and in real life lol.  But yeah, I guess something is lost in the repetition.  And we get older, become not as easily excited.  I dunno, but I have the map of Red/Blue version memorized.  I know everything about the first game.  I remember getting the game, catching that bastard Mewtwo (with a Poke ball, I accidentally used the master ball on a ditto like an asshat).  The legendary birds. Awesome.  Still my favorite one.  I was obsessed back then lol.  But yeah, the Trading card game was really addicting.  So was Pokemon Pinball, anybody with me?
