I just noticed MKWii past Halo 3's sales curve this week, and will likely pass its worldwide total as early as next month! Many of us saw this coming by the time MK was released (because by this point we all saw the the "Blue Ocean" was real), but lets think back even further.
If you asked your 2006 self "how likely is it that the next Mario Kart will outsell the next Halo?" What would be the response? My 2006 response would be: "not very," to say the least.
